We are here to provide for your hidden location needs! Whether you’re from overseas and believe you’ve run out of tourists attractions to check out or you work in the city and want to spice up your lunch break or even a university student with some time to spare between classes, we are here for you!

 

Welcome to Melbourne City Secrets. We’re a group of 5 university students who are aiming to provide both local residents and international tourists with new and unusual locations hidden within the Melbourne CBD with checking out. Most (we hope) you haven’t even heard of, but they are definitely worth visiting because of their beauty, history or tranquility. We hope to also inspire others see Melbourne with a new pair of eyes and bring life back into a city which for some has become a place for just work and study. We hope that through our locations we can provide tourists and locals with history of our city they may not be aware of and deepen their knowledge of the city they live in.

A secret will be revealed every week on Facebook and Instagram, with a few extra secrets revealed for public holidays. We will post photos and provide information such as opening hours and entry fee - however most locations would be free. For the more difficult to find places we will also be sharing a video on how to find it. All places will be located in the CBD and easily accessible by free trams.
